How the Distracted Driving Device Works

The Distracted Driving Device is designed to help reduce phone use while driving by keeping the driver’s phone secured and creating accountability if the phone is removed.

Simple Driver Process

  1. The driver places their phone in the Distracted Driving Device before driving.

  2. The phone stays secured and out of reach.

  3. The driver focuses on the road instead of the phone.

  4. If the phone is removed, management, a parent, or a guardian can be alerted.

  5. The device can be used along with a written safety policy or signed driver agreement.

Why It Matters

A phone-free driving rule is only effective if it is followed. DDD helps support that rule with a physical reminder, accountability, and alert capability.

Important Note

The Distracted Driving Device does not guarantee accident prevention, eliminate liability, or replace safe-driving practices. It is a safety tool designed to help reduce access to the phone while driving.
